1000th Student
The 1000th student to New Zealand under the technical assistance programme of the Colombo Plan arrived in Wellington this week. He is Mr F Madlansacay, a student from the Philippines, who will attend the Massey Agricultural College in Palmerston North to train in pastoral and dairy management. As the 1000th student under the plan, Mr Madlansacay was received by the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake).—(P.A.)
