Three players new to test cricket are included In the 12 from whom West Indies will choose its side for the first test with India on Friday. One of the three, J. Hendricks, is the only regular wicket-keeper named and seems certain to win his first cap. He has already toured India and Pakistan, in 195859, and Australia last year, as G Alexander’s deputy The other newcomers are W Rodriguez. the Trinidad all-rounder, and the fast bowier, C. Stayers The !2 are: F. Worrell (captain), L. Gibbs W Hall, J Hendricks. C Hunte, R. Kanhai, W. Rodriguez, C. Smith, G. Sobers. J. Solomon, C. Stayers, and C. Watson.
