Team To Leave On April 1
( N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Feb. 12.
The New Zealand Davis Cup team will leave Welhngton on April 1 and travel to Darwin for coaching by L. Atkins. It 'will arrive in London on April 17 and will play in the British hardcourt championships at Bournemouth, beginning on April 23.
These dates were announced at tonight’s meeting of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association management committee.
The women’s team will leave for Darwin on April 5 and will travel from there with the men.
