VALERIAS SOLD
Future Racing In U.S. (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Feb. 12. The good racehorse Valerius, has been bought in Australia by Mr G. G. Jamie, son, of the Rancho Del Charro Stud, Pleasanton. California. Valerius will arrive at Auckland tomorrow in the Wanganella, He will continue to America later this week in the Cap Domingo with Marco Polo II and two American-timed fillies bred by Mr L. S. Otway, at the Trelawny Stud, Cambridge. They are a filly by Pride of Kildare from Fantina. a full sister to Bali Ha’i, and one by Marco Polo II from Psalm.
It is intended to race Valerius in California before putting him to the stud.
