HYDATIDS CONTROL
Bones, Carcases In Paparua Heaps of bones and carcases were found last week on Catchment Board land in the County of Paparua, the hydatid control officer (Mr C. Catehpole) told the Paparua County Council last evening. The area was bounded by Conservators. Thompsons, and Old West Coast roads, Mr Catchpole said. "It would appear that farmers grazing this land make no attempt to remove dead stock.” “We have gone as far as we can go with warnings. Let us take action, now,” Cr. R. F. Lochhead said. The council will ask Mr Catchpole to supply the names of offenders.
