Seventh round matches in the Canterbury Cricket Association's competitions were completed on Saturday. Lower grade results were:— SECOND GRADE A West-University 230 and 141 for six (Wee 72 not out; Dickens three for 37) beat Riccarton 188 and 223 for five declared (O’Malley 102. Alexander 61) on the first innings. Boys’ High School 233 and 155 for eight declared (Mikkelson 50, Burtt 35) beat St. Albans 188 (Duyland 45, Arnesen 40; Hill threg for 16, Hounsell four for 54) and 198 for eight (Wood 73. High School Old Boys B 158 for two (Hern 50, Victor 45 not out; Rickard 44) beat Sydenham 157 for six declared (Harliwich 55. Wilson 46) on the first innings. Old Collegians 232 (Hammond 54. High School Old Boys 206 and 106 for five declared (Shinley 34 not out. Frengley 32 not out) beat Lancaster Park 197 (Sinclair 46 not out; Frengley eight for 58) and 89 for three (Wedlake 46) on the first innings. St. Albans 287 for seven declared beat East-Shirley A 157 (Allen four for 29) and 157 for seven (Hearn 61 Sheard three for 18) on the first innings.

West-University 202 for eight declared (Berkeley 49 not out; Wreaks four for 71) beat Old Collegians 173 and 282 for five (Calder 145 not out. Latham 45) on the first innings Riccarton beat East-Shirley B by default.

THIRD GRADE B East-Shirley 135 for four declared (Pauling 58) and 11 for none beat St. Albans-Teachers’ College 59 (Endacott three for 7. Bohan five for 12) and 82 (Best 32: Pauling four for 23) by 10 wickets. Old Collegians 140 (Ewen four for 25) drew with Technical Old Boys 139 for eight (Hamilton 31; Minty four for 58).

Sydenham 216 for nine (Patterson 108. Walker 58; Teale four for 57, Hooper three for 90) beat St. Albans 206 for seven declared (Flanagan 65 Spiers 34) on the first innings. Lancaster Park 157 for five (Baker 34) beat Riccarton 151 (Jenkins 50. Shivas 3 not out: Vaughan five for 20) on the first innings. FOURTH GRADE High School Old Boys 139 for three declared (Taylor 68 not out) beat Lancaster Park B 67 (Baillie four for 24) and 66 (Mac Alpine five for 23. Olliver four for 28) by an innings and six runs.

West-University 127 for eight <Gunby 61 not out; Heard three for 28) beat Riccarton 100 (Rae six for 33) on the first innings Lancaster Park C 220 for four (Steele 106 not out Rouse 65 Grav 33) beat Lancaster Park A 205 for five declared (Harrison 71. Hutcheson 58: Price four for 49) on the first innings.

Woman Injured.— Mrs D J Fletcher, of 35 Waimairi road. Upper Riccarton, suffered minor injuries when a car ran into the back of another in Greers road on Satruday afternoon. She was treated at Christchurch Hospital and sent home.
