Four American track and field athletes will leave for New Zealand on January 12 for a series of athletic meetings, the Amateur Athletic Union announced last night. The athlete® are E. B. Cunliffe, D. Edstrom, J. Bark and J. Dupree. They will be accompanied by a coach, W. Haylett, of Kanaw. Cunllffe, of Stanford University, holds the world record of 2:08 for the 1000 yards. Edstrom won the PanAmerican decathlon crown in 1959 and was runner-up for the A.A.U. title last year. Bork hold* the national colleges half-mile title and was placed third in the A.A.U. half-mile test year. Dupree holds the A.A.U. half-mile crown.
