Women’s Cricket Canterbury Retains Johnstone Shield

AUCKLAND, January 7. Although Auckland and Canterbury gained 16 points each in the women’s cricket tournament, Canterbury retained the Hallyburton/Johnstone shield on the aggregate average. Canterbury gained a first innings win over Auckland, and Wellington scored its first victory with an outright win over Otago in the final day of play on Saturday Details: Auckland v.
