AUCKLAND, January 7. Captain J. Shephard, a Tasman Empire Airways pilot, has been appointed to a top executive position with the International Civil Aviation Organisation in Montreal. He is the first New Zealander to become a permanent appointee in the organisation which operates under the auspices of the United Nations. He will end his 17 years’ service with T.E.A.L. oh Thursday.
