Mikoyan In Guinea

(N.Z J*. A. -Reuter— Copyright) LONDON, Jan. 4. The visit to Guinea today of the Russian First Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Anastas Mikoyan, “suggests that the Soviet leadership gives the country a good deal of importance,” the "Guardian” said.

“Mr Mikoyan, who seems to be Mr Khrushchev’s favourite ‘trouble - shooter’ abroad, will find plenty of trouble to ahoot at in Guinea.” the "Guardian” said. “President Sekou Toure seems determined to preserve the country’s independence. “Mr Mikoyan will have his work cut out, but so will anyone else who tries to do more than stand on the sidelines,” the “Guardian" said.
