metal trades AWARD
Increases in the weekly wage rates for members of th* Engineering, Coachbuildmg. Aircraft. and ReMed Trades Union have been granted by the Court of Arbitration. p»e increases range from Sid for A grade and certified motor mechanics to Is forsprayers and furnacemen. Toe terms of the award, which were arrived at by the assessors in Conciliation Council, are retrospective to December 4 and will remain in force until June 1, 1063. The award applies to the Northern. Wellington, and Canterbury metal trades employees.
