REAR OF SHOP DAMAGED
Fire In Liquor Store ' Fire badly damaged the back of the wine and spirit shop of Frank A. Cook. Ltd at 58 Kilmore street, at 520 a.m. on Saturday. The manager of the firm (Mr A McAllister) said last evening that no estimate could be made of the cost of the damage until this morning. Stock, including a number of cases of liquor imported under licence, was affected but the company will be able to fulfil Christmas orders. The back of the building was burnt out and the flames 'oread along the roof and the floor, burning several holes The modern shop at the front w”« not damaged. Members of the staff worked during the week-end cleaning up the premises so ‘hat the shojricould be open for business tSis morning.
