Canterbury Win (From Our Own Reporter I GREYMOUTH Nov. 26. to an elimination round contest for the Slazenger Shield Die Canterbury junior boys tennis team proved much too strong for the West Coast representatives. Canterbury won by 10 matches to 0. Results (Canterbury names first) were:— Stogies.—Ford beat Naylor 6-4, 6-1; W. Watkins beat Scully, 6-0, 6-1; R. McCutcheon beat Beams, 3-6 6-2. 6-2; A Brooks beat W Robertson, 6-3 6-4: Ford beat Scully. 6-1, 6-3: Watkins beat Naylor, 6-1, 6-3: McCutcheon beat Robertson 6-0 6-2; Brooks beat Beams, 6-4 Doubles.—Ford and Watkins beat Naylor and Scully, 8-1. 6-1; McCutcheon and Brookbeat Beams and Robertson, 7-5 6-4.
