Woman Unfit To Plead
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 17.
Medical reports showed that a woman charged with stabbing an Auckland store employee on October 30 was clearly certifiable and not fit to {dead or appear, Mr M. C. Astley, S.M., said in the Magistrate's Court at Auckland today. The woman, whose name was suppressed, appeared in Court three weeks ago charged with assaulting a sales assistant, causing actual bodily harm. Under section 32 of the Mental Health Act, the Magistrate ordered that the woman be kept in strict custody in the Auckland Mental Hospital until the pleasure of the Minister of Justice was known. I >
