Patrice Lumumba
Sir—The reported details of the murder of Patrice Lumumba by Tsbombe's followers are a terrible revelation. If these charges are proved and this man, who is called President Tshombe. is allowed to go free and defy the United Nations and keep the Congo in a state of bloody war, then there is no justice, no democracy in the world today. The sooner he is behind bars then the sooner there will be peace and unity in the Congo.—Yours. etc., R. DAVIS. November 17, 1961.
