fNZ. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 17. Asked to comment on the Nelson City Council’s request for a Government statement on the cotton mill project, the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said today: “The facts of this matter, as it stands at the moment, are well known.
“Because of differences of opinion about certain implications of the agreement, the Government has decided to invite the directors of the company to come to New Zealand for discussions." The Commonwealth Fabric Corporation’s New Zealand director (Mr A. H. Giles) said in Auckland today that his colleagues were expected to arrive in New Zealand next week-end.
