Epsom Track Needs
Attention (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. October 29. The Auckland Trotting Owners’. Trainers’ and Breeders’ Association abandoned a meeting at Alexandra Park on the week-end owing to bad weather. The birdcage and area in front of the main totalisator were under a foot of water. Most of the horses who were to have raced on the rainrutted tracks had already arrived at the course. The track will need much attention before it is in racing condition again.
