ADDINGTON TRIALS
N.Z. Cup Horses To Race Tomorrow
Fifteen New Zealand Cup candida’es will contest the A. L. Matson Memorial Handicap at trials to be held at Addington tomorrow by the Canterbury Trotting Owners’ and Breeders' Association.
The race, which is limited to horses nominated for the cup. will be run over 13 furlongs at 12.30 p.m. The field includes the Auckland pacers Damian. Guiseppe, and Panui, the performances of which will be closely followed.
The first seven races cater for horses engaged at the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club's cup meeting, which will open at Addington tomorrow week, and the programme will be completed with a qualifying trial, to be run in five heats.
