WORK STUDY
Film Evening Held By Society The Canterbury Work Study Society’s second meeting since its inception too* the form of a film evening with Mr V. Cansdale as chairman, was attended by 50 members and guests. The films, produces by the British Productivity Council, conveyed the aims, methods, and results of work study.
The examples shown were taken from real life, photographed in the heavy industrial plants, pharmaceutical works, and sheet-metal shops where they actually occurred and showed improvements affected in factory lay-out. working conditions, and increased bonuses earned. In the general discussion that followed, emphasis was placed on the importance of co-operation by all concerned during the charting analysis of work. When this was done, success was assured, it was said.
