U.K. Closing Date October 20 Christmas second - class mails for Britain and Europe, excluding Italy, would close at the Christchurch Chief Post Office at 10 a.m. on October 20, the Deputy-Chief Postmaster (Mr J. W. Lincoln) said yesterday.
