AUCKLAND. October 6. Motif, which finished a good fifth over two miles at Cambridge on September 9 at his only start for the season, is picked to win the Waipa Handicap, the second leg of the double on the first day of the Te Awamutu Trotting Club's spring meeting tomorrow. Hamutana is expected to be one of the favourites for the first leg, the Te Awamutu Handicap. Fair weather is forecast and the track should provide good going.
