Earl Roberts Trophy

Sir,—That was a very fine effort on the part of St. Andrew's College to have won the Earl Roberts Imperial Cadet Trophy from the huge field that always enters for this competition: and hardly less on the part of Christ’s College to have won fourth place. English periodicals, such as “Country Life,” habitually give considerable prominence to this event, and it is hoped that copies will in due course find their way into the hands of this country's, and this city’s, gratifyingly successful competitors.—Yours. etc., M.T. October 3, 1951.
