Grants To Hospital Chaplains
Higher grants to Anglican hospital chaplaincies to enable a chaplain to be appointed to Burwood Hospital were suggested by the Rev. J. D. Proud to the Synod of the Diocese of Christchurch yesterday afternoon. Mr Froud said the £4OOO now provided for chaplains was not enough for all the hospitals in Christchurch. Ho said that the matter could be brought up at Synod next year.
