Jersey Cattle Field Day
The Midland Canterbury Jersey Cattie Club held a spring field day on Saturday on the Leestan property of Mr D. J. Boai. About 130 attended. Judges for the judging competition. which covered aged, three-year-old. two-year-old and yearling females, were Messrs L. D. Adame, R. J. Gilbert, M. Johnson, and R. Partis for the official section and Messrs J. H. Gillett, W. Inglis, F. Lange, and A R. De Renzy for the junior section. The women’s section was won by Mrs J. Johnson, Mr 8, Dawson won the men’s. Miss Helen Martyn th? girls’, and Malcolm Boal won the boys’ section.
