The winter isolation of Byrd station was broken last whe n Rear-Admiral D M Tyree arrived there on ar ? from MeBf’srdo Sound.
For the 20 men who wintered over at Byrd the plane brought mail and fresh food, the first since April Admiral Tyree said the morale of the men at Byrd *»s excellent Last season his first flight to the station was made on October 28.
