Post Office Beats Railways
(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, September 17. The Post Office Rugby team beat the New Zealand Railways representatives, 8-6, at Palmerston North today in a very willing struggle. The Post Office points came as a try by Beasley. The captain, W. Clarke kicked a conversion and a penalty goal. For Railways the captain, G. O’Brien kicked two penalty goals. Nelson Matches (N.Z. Press Association) NELSON, September 17. In a Rugby match at Nelson, Centurions beat Nelson, 32-24. Marlborough beat Golden Bay-Motueka 19-0 at Murchison.
