North Island Railways beat the South Island Railways. 24-12, in their Rugby match at Palmerston North on Saturday. The game was largely fast and open with •backs and forwards putting on a good showing of bright Rugby. The North Island led 10-9 at half-time. Points scorers for the North Island were, T. Papa, P. Davis, and I. Frederickson. W. Seymour kicked two conversions and Davis kicked two penalty goals and a conversion.
Scorers for the South Island were T. Gage, two tries and a field goal, and W. Cumming, a penalty goal.
