Trawler Sunk By Stormwater
(N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER, September 1. A fishing trawler, the Katy, was sunk by stormwater at Ahuriri last night. She was moored alongside a stormwater drain outlet on West quay. When heavy rain fell during the night, water flowed through the outlet on to the 40ft craft, owned by Mr L. Johansen. She was later winched up by trucks.
