Examination Of Witnesses (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 22. Permission for accredited representatives of employee organisations to appear before the Royal Commission on State Services wc c granted by the commission today. The application was made jointly by Mr D. B. Inglis, for the combined State Services organisations; Mr N. R. Taylor, for the Public Service Association; and Mr P. J. Treadwell, for the Post Office Association.

The chairman of the commission (Mr slice McCarthy) told counsel the employee associations always had the right of appearance and would have the right of

cross-examination at the discretion of the commission.
