N.Z. BATTALION IN MALAYA
R.NZA.F To Assist In Replacement Royal New Zealand Air Force DCITs will fly advance parties of the Ist Battalion to Malaya in August and September. The aircraft will bring back members of the 2nd Baf.alien and their families at present in Taiping. The main replacement of he 2nd Battalion by the Ist Battalion during November and December will also be made by air, and arrangements are being made for the R.N.Z.A.F. to move most of the members of both battalions in that period. Two officers and two noncommissioned officers of the tot Battalion will leave Chr'h'trhurch about August 8 flor Singapore. Thirty soldiers making up part of the advance administrative party will leave cm August 29 to prepare the new camp at Malacca. In mid-September a training party of 30 soldiers and the remaining men of the administrative party will leave on three flights from Chrtstdhureh.
