Crown Sections For Sale
I From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, July 4. Twenty housing sections formerly on Crown land have been set aside for sale to the public, according to an announcement today by the Minister of Housing (Mr Rae). These will be in addition to sections already released. The group comprises 20 housing sections in the Barrett Block, Harewood, situated in Wairakei and Grahams roads and Staines street. These sections are being transferred to the Commissioner of Crown Lands. Christchurch, who will invite applications by advertisement soon. A ballot will be conducted if necessary. The sites will be sold at current market values.
