RANGIORA C.W.I. MEETING
Results Of June Competitions Because of the cold weather the June meeting of the Rangiora Country Women's Institute was not as well attended as usual. Mrs. M. Maunder read the golden thread and Mrs T. Campbell spoke on the motto, ‘‘We make a living by what we get, but we make life by what we give.” The roll call was “My pet brooch." Competition results were:— Large bloom, Mrs H. Munro 1, Mrs W. McCann 2, Mrs R. McCullough 3; small bloom. Mrs R. McCullough and Mrs H. Munro (equal) 1, Mrs B. Manning 3. Mrs L. Hockey 4; spike. Mrs W. McCann 1. Mrs S. Smith 2. Mrs H. Munro 3; cluster. Mrs 11. Munro 1. Mrs E. Sears 2, Mrs W. McCann and Mrs S. Smith (equal) 3; rose. Mrs L. Hockey 1, Mrs S. Smith 2. Mrs T.
