RESPONSE TO APPEAL
Appreciation Expressed
Appreciation of the support given the street day appeal of the Christchurch Methodist Central Mission by the nublic of Christchurch has been expressed by the citv missioner (the Rev. W. E Falkingham). “Christchurch citizens have always generously supported work amongst the age, the sick, and all needing help," Mr Falkingham said. "The support of the collection proves that this spirit of Christian philanthropy is still strong, and we hope and believe that it will long continue to thrive.” The amount collected was §1450.
