Rubber Duties Abolished
(N.Z Press Association) WELLINGTON. June 9. Primage duty on natural and synthetic rubber classed under tariff items 205 (1). 205 (2). and 205 (3) is abolished under an order gazetted yesterday. The Prime Minister (Mt Holyoake) said tonight the order was made in accordance with the terms of th* trade agreement in February between New Zealand and Malaya. The agreement was signed in Kuala Lumper yesterday by the High Commissioner tor New Zealand (Mr C. M Bennett) and the Malayan Minister of Commerce and Industry (Inche Khir Bin Johari).
