FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT Situation.—A deep depression is moving away east of the North Island and a weak ridge of high pressure is moving on to New Zealand. Another depression near Lord Howe Island is moving eastwards. Forecast.— ' All districts —Light or moderate variable winds, mainly north-easterlies in eastern coastal areas. Some localised cloudy areas about the Nelson and Marlborough coastal areas early, otherwise mainly fine weather, with rising day temperatures. Outlook: Sunday mainly fine.
