Information On Teachers
More information on the qualifications of teachers appointed to schools is wanted by school committees, it was agreed at a meeting of the Canterbury School Committees’ Association. After full discussion on thie matter, raised by the Hornby School Committee, if was decided to write to the Canterbury Education Board asking if such information could be made available. Mr A. Greenwood (life-member) and Mr E. F. Wilde (North New Brighton), both members of the board, said that the matter had been before the board previously, and they thought, it would be “sympathetic” to the request.
