Rider’s Licence Revoked
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) MELBOURNE, July 31. The riding licence of the Victorian cross-country jockey, Roy Boswell, has been revoked. The acting-chairman of stewards, Mr J. J. Aherne, said this at Moonee Valley yesterday. The announcement came after a long inquiry by the stewards into aspects of the Roisel Steeplechase at Caulfield on June 18, in which Boswell rode Military Chief. Boswell has been a prominent jumping rider in Victoria for the last 10 years.
