£lm. TRUST FUND FOR HOSPITAL
Bequest Of Former Financier (N.Z. Press Association—Comrtent) MELBOURNE, July 28. Mr Harry Lyon Moss, of Melbourne, who died last week, left a £1,000,000 trust fund for the Royal Children’s Hospital. Mr Moss, aged 86, financier and investor, was described by his neighbours today as a recluse and "something of a mystery.” His legacy will be called the Harry Lyon Moss Trust. It comprises the residue of his estate after the payment of legacies of about £ll,OOO and providing for an income for his only child. Mrs Patricia Storrer.
The hospital will get about £40.000 a year on the present income-earning capacity of the estate. It is the biggest individual bequest ever made to the Royal Children’s Hospital. . r
