Australian Trip For Derry’s Brass Band
Derry’s Brass Band will attend the 'Australasian championship at Ballarat in October next year, it was decided at the annual meeting on Thursday eventag- _ Officers elected were:—President, Mr L. T. Loversidge; conductor, Mr V. A. G. Aldridge; bandmaster, Mr I. Marriner; secretary, Mr S. Hobbs; treasurer, Mr M. Allison; drum major, Mr D, Silcock; librarians, Mr B. Aldridge and Mr R. Cocks; custodians, Mr K. Hindman and Mr D, Goodman; committee, Messrs J. Marriner, D. Silcock, D. Gillespie, M. Orange, J. Richards; trustees, Mr V. A. G. Aldridge and Mr L. T. Loversidge; auditor, Mr J. R. Fitzgerald.
