Share Split, New Issue
(New Zealana Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 28.
The United Empire Box Company, Ltd., Wellington, proposes to split its £1 shares into 5s units and. thereafter, to make an issue of three-for-10 at a premium of 50 per cent. The issue will increase paid capital to £1,115,500—£870,500 ordinary and £245,000 preference. The new shares will be payable 5s on September 30 and 2s 6d on November 30. They will rank for 50 per cent, of any dividend declared for the current year. Consent of the Capital Issues Committee has been obtained and the proposals will be submitted to shareholders after the annual general meeting on August 25.
