TWO FORWARDS ORDERED OFF
Hornby, Sydenham Players
Soon after the start of the second half of the main Rugby League game at the Show Grounds between Hornby and Sydenham, the referee (Mr D. C. Wilson) ordered off D. Kerr (Sydenham) and F. Tinning (Hornby). They were ordered from the field after a skirmish when a scrum was breaking up. The referee had warned the two players shortly before the ordering off.
