(New Zealand Press Association* WELLINGTON. July 34. Wellington churned up the mud and then nibbed Manawatu in it for a 52-0 win in the Rugby League representative game at Wellington on Saturday. Although not a true indication of Wellington'* chances against France on Wednesday, the game suggested that Wellington may give the tourists better opposition than anyone expected. Except for the first minutes of the game and an exciting two-man run in the second spell. Manawatu never looked like scoring, although the team made the home side work harder for points than the score indicates.
