N.Z. Team For Second Test (New Zealand. Press Association) AUCKLAND. July 24. C. R. Johnson, the New Zealand Rugby League captain, will set a record when he leads the Kiwis against France in the second test on August B. In the first test against France on Saturday, Johnson equalled T. O. Baxter’s record of 30 test caps for New Zealand. Johnson first represented New Zealand in 1950 and has worn the Kiwi Jersey 61 times. After Saturday’s test, the chairman of the New Zealand selectors, announced that the Kiwi team for the second test would be unchanged. The team is:— Full-back: C. A. Eastlake. Wings: B. T. Hadfield.
