STATION MANAGER OF 2XP
Christchurch Man’s
Appointment Mr E. A. G. Tomlinson, chief clerk and accountant of the New Zealand Broadcasting Service in Christchurch since 1948, has been appointed manager of station 2XP, New Plymouth. Mr Tomlinson, who is aged 49, was born in Christchurch, and joined the Broadcasting Service in 1937, after serving in the Department of Agriculture from 1927. The whole of his service with the Broadcasting Service has been in Christchurch. A member of the New Zealand Society .of Accountants, and of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries, Mr Tomlinson was formerly active ih school committee work for the Shirley School, and has been secretary .and auditor of many local organisations, including the Aquarium and Pond Society.
