Museum Of Transport, Technology Planned

(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 6. A decision to set tup a museum of transport and technology at Western Springs, Auckland, and to- form a society to operate it was made at a meeting in Auckland. More than 100 persons appointed an interim committee to formulate a set of rules covering the objects of the society. Mr G. N. Roberts (aeronautical society) explained the proposal and said the controllers of the remarkably collection of transport vehicles and equipment at Matakohe had offered the entire collection to an Auckland Technology Museum. The curator of the museum'will be Mr G. T B. Bolt, retiring chief engineer of Tasman Empire Airways. Ltd.
