BODY OF MAN FOUND
Disappeared During Goose Shoot (From Our Own Reporter) TIMARU, April IL The body of a man which, from the clothing, is believed to be that ot Mr Raymond Moss, aged 26, married, of Timaru, will be recovered from the mouth of the Cass river tomorrow. Mr Moss was reported missing at the head of Lake Tekapo on the morning of January 3. A member of a 14-man goose shooting party. Mr Moss set off alone to traverse an area accessible only after the crossing of two branches of the Macaulay river, which runs into the Godley river. He was seen to cross the first of these swollen tributaries and when he did not rejoin the party a search was organised under difflcult.conditions and abandoned on January 13. The Timaru police today conflrm'ed that what was sighted from a launch on the lake by Mr C. S. Brehaut the previous day was a body. An Inquest will' be opened in Timaru tomorrow.
