TINNED WILD BOAR MEAT
American Importer’s Request (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 27. A New York importer of game meats wants to buy New Zealand wild boar meat. The latest issue of “Export News” states that the New Zealand Trade Commissioner in New York reported that the importer wanted boar meat in carcase form, cuts or cans. The boar has to be no more than two years old when killed. “Export News” states that the inquiry presents an opportunity to establish a new trade. But it adds that good facilities will be
needed for storing the meat, preparing it for export, and shipping it to fit in with any particular season for this meat in New York.
