The following allocations for ' Dominion bushcraft and cash cycling championships were approved by the New Zealand Athletic, Cycling, and Axemens Union at its annual conference in Timaru on Saturday:— Bushcraft.—l4in underhand chop November 12, 1960, at Totara Flat; Westland; 12in standing chop February, 1960 (Hutt Valley A. and P Association); 15in underhand chop to be offered to Hutt Valley A. and P. Association; 12in underhand chop
December 31, 1960 (Riverton, Southland); Ilin and 13in underhand chops, 1960 (Westland). The balance of the allocation will go to the Northern Athletic Union. Cycling.—New Zealand 50 miles August 13, 1960 (Otago Cash Cycling Club); New Zealand 75 miles, August <l7, 1960 (Timaru Club); New Zealand 100 miles, October 8 1960 (Greymouth Club); South Island 50 miles. August 6, 1960 (Hornby Club); South Island 75 miles. August 20 1960 (Hornby Club); South Island 100 mile (Timaru to Christchurch), September 3, 1960 (Christchurch Club); North Island 50 miles, September 17. 1960 (Waitara Club, Taranaki); North Island 75 miles, September 24 (New Plymouth Club); North Island 100 miles, October 22. 1960 (New Plymouth); New Zealand track championships, February 19, 1960 (New Plymouth).
