CITY FLORAL PROCESSION
Arrangements For February 20
Encouraging entries have been received, and more are expected for the floral procession in Christchurch which is being organised by the Canterbury Jaycee for February 20. The procession will probably be held through the middle of the city, beginning at 10 a.m., and will make its way to Hagley Park, for a gala. The procession will coincide with the Pacific Area Travel Association conference in Christchurch, which will be attended by several hundred delegates from overseas.
The convener of the procession (Mr D. R. Bowman) said yesterday that business houses, associations, clubs, and other organisations were urged to send in further entries promptly to the Canterbury Jaycee, P.O. Box 187, or to the Canterbury Public Relations Office.
