The West Australian Wool Produce Brokers' Association reported a 98 per cent, clearance of the 14,000 bales offered, with Eastern Europe and the Continent the chief buyers. Australian mills and Japan gave good support.

The offering comprised mainly good to best topmaking types, well grown and in good condition. Today's top price was 80d for five bales of super 64’s.
